OUR NEW COMPANY SLOGAN IS HERE!

For the past month, we have enlisted the help of our lovely fans to create a new slogan that sums up who Danilo are and what we do in a fun and punchy way!

We’ve been overwhelmed with the number of entries and are genuinely impressed at the thought and creativity that has gone into creating them, so we want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to enter.

Our Danilo judges have found it difficult to choose but we have finally come to a decision as to which slogan we like the best and are delighted to announce that it is….

“Danilo: Making every day a date to remember”

We felt this particular slogan summarised our key purpose as an official licensed calendar and card publisher i.e. to enable fans to spend every day with their favourite celebrities / brands whilst staying organised.

Danilo Director Daniel Prince comments “This has been a great campaign which has generated a lot of fantastic suggestions. We are very pleased with the slogan we’ve selected and believe it sums up what Danilo is all about.”

And the person to submit this winning entry and therefore crowned our official Slogan Creator is the lovely (and talented) Mrs Kathleen Kemp!

We spoke to Kathleen to find out a bit more about her and her inspiration behind her entry….

So Kathleen, congratulations on winning our slogan competition. Can you begin by telling us a little about yourself?

Thanks so much. I work as a school support worker in County Durham and I have one grown-up son.

How does it feel to be our new slogan creator?

It feels really good that somebody has enjoyed my slogan enough for it to win. I’m inspired to try another one now.

What was your inspiration / thought-process behind your slogan entry?

My thinking was that memories are linked to dates and times and we often put our most important events onto calendars.

Have you always been creatively-minded?

I’d like to think I am a little bit of a creative thinker, I do enjoy other creative hobbies, art and crafts.

 How did you find out about Danilo and the competition?

I saw the competition in Comper’s News Magazine so I looked up Danilo on the internet for more information.

Have you ever been bought an official calendar from someone?

Every year a family member buys me a Lake District calendar for Xmas. But if I was to choose a Danilo licenced title it would be the Top Gear Calendar as am a fan of the show.

So do you have any plans for how you will spend your cash prize?

As for the cash, it will be very welcome towards a weekend break later in the year – perhaps to – you’ve guessed it – the Lake District.
