Danilo Easter Update

There is never a dull moment here at Danilo and although it might not seem it, there is always plenty going on behind the scenes. For instance, this month Danilo has taken centre stage or to be more precise back page of ‘Greetings Today’ take a look if you can, plenty to whet the appetite.

There is probably a bigger spring in our step this year as 2013 marks the 35^th Anniversary of Danilo’s first ever calendar release.  For the un-initiated, Lawrence Prince, MD of Danilo, thought that the death of Elvis should be marked in someway, where upon he approached Colonel Parker with the idea of producing an official Elvis calendar, the rest, as they say, is history.

Elvis is still one of our best selling calendars and is always one of the first names on our production list. We’ve seen many fads come and go over the years and some of these have rewarded us with our best selling calendars, anyone remember ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’. More recently the popularity of ‘High School Musical’ & ‘Harry Potter’ have both converted their popularity into sales. Of course pop stars and sporting hero’s always have a great fan base, the likes of Kylie, Cliff, Take That and David Beckham, have all proved to be winners. Thankfully, some things don’t change and we’re pretty confident ‘One Direction’ will be up there battling it out for supremacy in this year’s calendar charts.

Keeping up with what’s current is all part and parcel of a company like ours, which is why we’re pleased to announce the release of our latest Keith Lemon & Mrs Brown’s Boys cards.
